Norwind Offshore is proud to announce the delivery of Norwind Mistral and Norwind Sirocco, marking another important milestone in the continued growth and expansion of our fleet.
Norwind Mistral was delivered from Vard Brattvaag on Tuesday, 7th July at 10:00, followed by the delivery of Norwind Sirocco on Thursday, 16th July at 10:50.
Both vessels will commence operations under contract immediately following delivery.
About the vessels
Norwind Mistral and Norwind Sirocco are two state-of-the-art CSOVs of the VARD 4 25 design, developed by Vard Design in Ålesund.
Purpose-built for the offshore wind sector, the vessels provide safe, efficient, and flexible support throughout the commissioning, operation, and maintenance phases of offshore wind farms.
The vessels’ hulls were built and outfitted at Vard Braila in Romania, before being completed and delivered at Vard Brattvaag in Norway.
Equipped with advanced technology, Norwind Mistral and Norwind Sirocco are designed with a strong focus on operational efficiency, sustainability, safety, and onboard comfort.
With 101 cabins and a total capacity of up to 120 persons on board (POB), the vessels provide excellent accommodation capacity and are optimized to support efficient and comfortable offshore operations.
